Our solids come in many colors and many styles. Lycra is knitted 82% polyester, 18% Spandex. Spandex is the generic name for Lycra, which is our most popular swimsuit fabric. Lycra is sleek and smooth to the touch; it slides through the water. The Brief is the standard male competition swimsuit. This suit is perfect for workouts and swim meets. In streamline fabric, it is excellent for racing in competitions. This item comes fully front lined; the entire front panel of the suit is lined. (Please note that if you are ordering a light colored suit, we strongly advise that you change your order to fully front and back lined to avoid transparencies.) AgonSwim products are made to order. This means we have to manufacture your product before we ship it to you. This process takes 2 to 3 weeks.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Great High Quality Swim Suit Comment: I swim seven days a week, two miles a day. The suit got a lot of good use. It lasted me a little over three months. The suit is comfortable, and it looks sharp. I would recommend you getting it.
But the big point that I'd like to make is about the care of the suit.
Firstly, the suit snags on anything and is easily frayed. You need to even avoid resting against the side of the pool, or you'll damage the suit.
As another reviewer mentioned, make sure you wash the suit in cold water every time you use it. But do NOT wring the suit out with your hands. The Lycra is extremely stretchy. Wringing the suit out will cause it to become extremely stretched out. Squeeze the suit (without twisting it) to get as much as the water out as possible, and then let it air-dry.
I didn't recognize how badly I had stretched out my suit until it wore out, and started wearing a new one.
Despite the relative fragileness of the suit, I like it a lot. I would recommend to anyone looking for a 'speedo' type suit.
