Black truffle pieces along with black olives, champignons and spices create a fantastic taste sensation. Serve on toast points for very special hors d'oeuvres that will have your guests raving. Brush a thin layer on grilled meats, especially steaks. Add to your favorite tomato pasta sauce. Toss with some fettuccine for an instant meal. Add to risotto. Its powerful taste takes a little a long way.

Summary: Great, but a little pricey.
Comment: Well, this is not a truffle paste or a truffle tapenade. This is a mixture of Champignon mushrooms, black olives, black truffles, olive oil, spices as mentioned on the items description. So, I think it is too pricey!
That said it tastes wonderful and I would buy it again and again. :)
Truffles are very flavorful and fragranced mushrooms for those of you wondering, so if you don't like mushrooms I am pretty sure you won't like truffles.
I add this tapenade to my cooking (from meals to eggs), and I like to make a small sandwich sometimes, which my husband and I share. If we don't spoil ourselves now, when will we? ;)
I recommend this item.
