Customer Rating: Summary: Still hasn't shipped....... Comment: I ordered over two weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped. I can't say if the SlimSlimmy is good/bad but their service sucks. Customer Rating: Summary: Good solution if a bi-fold is too fat and a money clip is ruining your cards Comment: I needed a solution to my increasingly fat wallet (not in a good way, sadly), but money clips were either too rigid or they left my cards and ID scarred from sliding them in and out.
The slimmy was recommended by a friend who has used one for quite a while, and I can see why.
Be warned: this is not for those of you who need to carry 15 credit cards or photos of your family. I keep my ID, my bank card, a few plain paper store discount cards, and some cash in mine and it's the perfect fit.
Customer Rating: Summary: Disapointed Comment: I'm quite disappointed with the design of this product. When multiple credit cards are placed in the same pocket, they tend to chafe against one another, with the result that the magnetic stripes on the cards can become worn and damaged. I do not regard it as a replacement for a regular wallet--but it's fine if you just want to carry a couple of cards and some cash. I have 4 cards in the middle slip and 6 cards in the outer slip and still have room for bills in the last slip. About a month or so after using it on a daily basis, I began to notice a problem where the interior fabric seemed to be separating from the leather exterior, causing ripples in the fabric on the inside. I contacted Koyono about this and they sent me a replacement and asked for pictures from the first to send to their manufacturer. While I though this was an isolated mistake, the replacement slimmy also has the same defect- the interior fabric is no longer tight and has actually gotten worse than the first. This may or may not bother you, but for the price, I believe they should have worked this out.
