At the age of nine, Joseph Semprevivo was diagnosed with diabetes and by age 12, he created the first sugar free ice cream on the market. At 15 (1986) Joseph's Cookies and brownies were released into the mass market.

Comment: I love love love these cookies! All of the cookies I have tried from Joseph's have been delicious, but the Almond ones are my absolute favorite!Very crunchy. Very almondy! Also give the Pecan Walnut Brownie Bites a try- they are also delicious. None of these cookies taste sugar free. Word of warning: Be careful - these cookies are all addictive!
