Summary: A totally unique and amazing new way to look at the world!
Comment: Knowing my love for world exploration, a friend recently recommened that I get myself a copy of Glimpse and having now read it cover to cover, I love him for it.

I have never before seen a magazine that actually explores life with foreign people in foreign lands without pretense, without bias imposed by advertising dollars, without concern for political neutrality or without attempting to achieve the impossible by trying to be "perfectly objective."

Essentially, this is a magazine whose mission (as they clearly state) is purely to "deepen our regard for the peoples and cultures of the world" by "bringing the world to life." There is a love for life, for people, for culture, and for the diversity of our world that is extraordinary for its complete honesty and innocence and I love it.

All this is not even to mention that the magazine is brand new. How can one explain the quality of every article or the care that the authors and editors take in presenting experiences that make you feel like you're there or at least that you want to be there when the authors are almost all college students and the editors just graduated (albeit from Brown University) in 2002?!

Yet quite to the contrary, the "next generation" perspective and fresh, youthful voice in every article I come across is compelling far beyond any other international news source I have ever seen. National Geograhic, which I notice from their website supported them early, should have followed their lead or even hired them on the spot.

In the end, I am captivated. They have won in me a lifelong subscriber and (as you all will hopefully see) a bard to sing their praises with this their first major issue! Politics and biases aside, this is a magazine that our society and our world needs.

Do yourself a favor and lend these courageous people a hand and help yourself in the process!
