Summary: Great Chamber Music Magazine
Comment: This is THE periodical if you are interested in lesser known but excellent chamber music. You will find reviews and discussions of the chamber music by composers with whom you may not be familiar, but whose music, once you play or hear it, you find to be in many cases ever bit as good as that by the famous composers such as Beethoven or Brahms. There are also reviews of recent CDs of this kind of music. These reviews are quite different from what you normally find. They are not about the performance, because in most cases, its the only CD available but rather about the music itself. Highly informative. Well worth the small subscription fee of $20.
