Summary: Vibrant Examination of International Issues
Comment: An avid consumer of foreign policy publications, the Brown Journal of World Affairs stands out amongst its peers as the preeminent journal on world affairs. It brings together a variety of writers to engage in intellectual discussions of breadth and vibrancy that transcend the scope of mainstream media. It manages to provide insights into issues that further the pursuit of sophisticated research while being accessible to most readers. The Journal has consistently chosen topics that are often neglected and illuminates them to world acknowledgement. The current issue on the European Union Foreign and Security Policy taps into a debate that is at the forefront of IR scholarship, while the section on Iran covers an often overlooked key player in the Middle East. With these dynamic section topics I can only applaud the Journal and wish it success in the future. Finding it now in its tenth year of publication brings overwhelming satisfaction. In a time when we need to be aware of the dynamic world we inhabit this Journal provides a service to the community.
