Call it a great desk or room accessory, the Sunbeam Hot Shot Hot Water Dispenser prepares up to 16 ounces of steaming, hot water in around 90 seconds. That's water suitable to make tea, hot chocolate, instant coffee, even instant soups or oatmeal. It's perfect for your desk at work, your dormitory at school, or at home. When it comes to preparing hot beverages and soups at an instant, you're the hot shot with The Hot Shot, from Sunbeam. Summary: Liked the original version better
Comment: I ordered this item because the one pictured by Amazon showed the older model. It has more space for a taller mug. Drill Spot accepted the return promptly and courteously. Wish I could find the old model!

Summary: Great product
Comment: Great product. Have used one for YEARS. Great for office. I couldn't face mornings without this machine in my kitchen. Faster than a microwave. I hope they always keep this product on the market.

Summary: Quick & easy
Comment: Love my new Hot Shot. I've had one for the last 10 years. So when my old one got a little rickety, I bought another. I like the sleek new look, and it works just as well as the old model. Only thing I question is the start button at the top of the unit, which you have to push hard to turn on. It just feels a little cheesy. I'll let you know how long it lasts.

Summary: Cool product...
Comment: This product was everything I expected from Sunbeam and more. After having one for the last 30 years, with no problems(it would still be operating if my roommate hadn't pushed the button to heat with no water in it) it would still be operating. Cudos to Sunbeam for continuing to make a fine reliable product!

Summary: My Soldier Loves It!
Comment: I sent this to my son when he was stationed in Afghanistan last winter. (He is with a medical unit, so they had power in their tent.) He LOVED it! Said it was such a luxury to have hot water that quickly, especially when they would come in from missions and were so cold that all they could think of was hot chocolate! It was such a touch of home that he left it when he rotated back to the U.S. so their replacements could enjoy it. I'm sending him another one now, to his new duty station in Iraq...those desert nights can get really cold!
