Comment: I love this music, so I was very excited to see a download link and rushed to buy it...without reading that in fact it is a synthesized version of his works.
It's awful.
Now if I could just get not only my money back, but the time I wasted on this...a lesson learned for not reading the fine print.

Comment: Well, when I first saw this CD I was tempted to buy it without hesitation, but I decided to listen to the tracks and found that all these are synthesized tracks, not really Morricone conducting an orchestra. Maybe I am not the most notable review writer or music specialist, but what I know for sure is how the maestro's music sounds, if you want a real maestro compilation, please buy the CD's Ennio Morricone - Film Music, Vol.1 & Vol.2. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

He possesses that coveted gift of diving into the core of every score with such depth of feeling and whole understanding of the material, without concessions of sentimental effects. Acquire it and convince by yourself. He is among the great composers of the genre of easy to listen music.
