Customer Rating: Summary: Great help in the garden Comment: This kneeler is great. I leave it out in all types of weather and nothing happens to it. I use it almost everyday in the yard for almost every activity from gardening to sitting on it to play with my son in his sandbox, etc. It is great!
Customer Rating: Summary: Overall good construction Comment: Kneeling pad not attached very well, uses 2 small pieces of velcro that have already come unglued from the seat, otherwise good quality garden product, also works well as shower seat for much cheaper than dedicated shower chairs
Customer Rating: Summary: She couldn't do without it Comment: My mother lives for gardening, and is out playing in the dirt as soon as the weather allows. She'll be turning 90 on her birthday in October, so this kneeler has been an enormous assist to her, not only in kneeling, but as a bench. She's been using it for a month (ever since Mother's Day) and wishes it had come along sooner in her life.
Customer Rating: Summary: If you garden and don't want a sore back or knees Comment: Excellent product for the gardener who wants a easy to use, adaptable bench/kneeler. Highly recommend.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent stool Comment: This is an excellent stool for gardening. It's sturdy and comfortable, with rounded corner, and lightweight enough to easily carry from place to place.
The kneeler aspect is a little more problematical, though it may be I'm just not used to it. The thing is, that with the thickness of the pad, plus the framework, it raises your knees 2 -3 inches above ground level. As a result, when you're working on level ground, you end up having to tilt your body forward and downward a bit. I have a bad back and this feels strange to me. I haven't used it much in actual gardening yet, so maybe I'll adjust to this odd posture. I notice no other reviewers have mentioned this though, and admittedly, it would be an issue with any kneeler I guess.
That said, it's comfortable and wide enough for even a large bodied person, though be aware it's going to take a bit of arm strength to rise from a kneeling position.
Regardless, I do recommend this item and can see how it may be useful for a variety of household chores.
