Summary: For non classic music lovers
Comment: This is fun. The music is not changed by a note, but the old master is jazzed up into lots of fun for people who ordinarily do not like classic music. For those of us that do, it is delightful. It is a remarkable blend of voices, and not overdone. The drum in some of the pieces is most effective without taking away from the beauty of Bach.

Summary: Caution for this release
Comment: I really enjoy The Swingle Singers. If you are unfamiliar with their work, see some of the reviews for the first volume, Jass Sebstien Bach (and listen to the samples, of course). I gave this release only three stars because the 10 cuts included here were previously issued on the JSB CD I purchased several years ago. The current release of JSB (volume 1) only has 13 cuts rather than the 23 on the disk I have, so Philips apparently reissued them in their original forms. That's fine, and both volumes would be worth it, but anyone who has the "expanded" JSB should note that they already have the cuts on this release.

In addition, note that this release comes in cardboard casing rather than plastic. That's probably fine for most, but the cardboard will likely wear out faster given the way I stack my CDs.
