There are some excellent web sites dedicated to this smoker that provide many good tips and recipes. The first time I used it i was able to keep the tempature constant at 250 degrees for 8 hours with very little effort. My old smokers could never keep a steady tempature even with a huge amount of work.
I would recommend this smoker to a beginner or a pro. I have seen these at many BBQ competitions.
