Editorial Reviews:

These 6 amusing, clever magnets fascinate kids! Turn on the battery powered main gear and stick it to any magnetic surface. Continue adding the other 5 gears and watch as they flop, twirl, and turn. It's mesmerizing magnetic mechanics. Each gear has a magnetic back, and is useable on all magnetic surfaces. Post notes, your child's artwork, or other important paper with flair and fun! Requires 1 AA battery. Ages 3 and up.

Summary: Great Product
Comment: My 3 year old son loves this thing. Great value (cheap) and keeps him in the kitchen while we're having meals. Given the price, I would suggest ordering 2 or 3 and putting them all together, since there are only about 6 pieces. I'm a engineering-type guy and I love this thing myself!

Summary: Never gets old
Comment: My son has had this since he was two, and he still loves it at almost four. His friends also love it--the key is to get them to turn it off when they are done playing, because they love to let it run. A wonderful value.

Summary: Great for a short while...
Comment: My son was very interested and curious about these. Then all the magnets ended up in his toy box and all over the house. He finds the gears interesting by themselves. The main unit is still on the fridge. He'll turn them on (I purchased two sets) and leave. It was a fun toy for... oh ... about a week. I'm still glad I got it though. It really kept his attention even if it was for a short time.

Summary: So Much Fun
Comment: My 19 month-old LOVES this toy! She plays for hours with it! I have given it as a gift to many of my friends children and they love it too. It is not only fun, but educational too. Kids have to figure out how the pieces fit together to move.

Summary: The Gears
Comment: Fun item for a wide range of ages. It's been a hit with 1 year olds and 6 year olds. It also appeals to boys and girls alike. We had it on our fridge for the longest time and then moved it to the radiator cover in our sons bedroom. It's a great toy to have on hand for spur of the moment gift giving. It's reasonably priced and unique.
