You wouldn't cut tile with a wood saw, so why would you attempt to cut meat with a butter knife? You'll enjoy your meal more if you don't have to struggle to eat it.

Customer Rating: Summary: Knives do not stay nice very long Comment: Have 12 of these knives and the blades started looking bad within 2 years of very light use. By the 3rd year they are looking so bad I need to replace them, cheap stainless steel blades. Pay more and by a higher grade stainless steel unless you want to replace every few years....
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Knives Comment: The knives are easy to hold. Handles are thick. The serated portion of the blade is small and at the tip. This takes some getting used to. Once accomplished, the knives are great. I ordered a second set.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sharp set of knives Comment: We own ten of the Henckels Eversharp knives. They never dull, are nice looking, solidly made, and have the Henckels brand name on it. What more can you ask?! Excellent value.
Customer Rating: Summary: Henckels Steak Knives Comment: The knives are great, dishwasher safe, cut beautifully. A bargain at the price. But a nicer, more permanent box would be nice.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't buy Henckel !! Comment: These are terrible, terrible knives. I returned both sets the day after I tried them. The serrations shred your food instead of cutting it. The handles are very cheap feeling and are not comfortable to use. The tiny serrations also make the knives very difficult to clean and considering the name "Eversharp" they sure didn't seem very sharp. You will be better off keeping that cheapo set you bought at walmart years ago.
NEW INFO:
I found comperable knives (maybe even better) at IKEA. They come in a pack of 6 for three bucks.
