Summary: Works great, but small problem on the 4100DG-09
Comment: Took about 10 minutes to install by the directions for the 4100. (The 4000 is mounted slightly differently). Works very well and smooth as silk if you don't tighten the screws on the mounts until the final step.
The only problem I've had (really just a annoyance), is that with the Digital Scale for the 4100DG-09, or the Digital Scale mounted as an after accessory, the left rod is stopped by the digital scale when it is in the parked position as specified by Bosch.
What that means is that you have to be careful not to slam the extension into ITS parked position or you might damage the Digital scale. You need to stop it a little early and lock it into position to avoid touching the scale.
Other than that annoyance, it works quite well!

Comment: There is a slight twist to the instructions. If you follow the instructions for the 4000, things won't match up. But when the instructions for the 4100 are followed, every thing lines right up! I did remove the the 2 circlips that limit the closing distance, so as to allow for easier passage though doors. Everything is heavy duty, and I mean HEAVY duty. This is a true piece of Quality German Engineering.

Comment: Product was easy to install. Bought side extension also. Love my Bosch saw with stand for quick projects. Saves me from hauling out the Unisaw. Due to being lazy, I'm sad to say my Unisaw is now a tool shelf.
