Editorial Reviews:

Generation upon generation have enjoyed Flinch since it was first introduced in 1905. Now it's back, and better than ever, bringing with it fond memories of great fun. All you have to do to win is get rid of the 10 cards in your stockpile. You'll do this by playing them in numerical sequence--whenever possible--onto the play piles in the center of the table. Sounds simple, doesn't it' Or is it' Flinch set includes rules for 5 great Flinch variations, including Flinch 2000--a "zestier" way to play with new "wild" cards, a solitaire game and a special version just for kids. Introduce this beloved card game classic to your family today! Includes 3 decks (144 cards in all) and illustrated rules and history of Flinch. For 1-8 players.

Summary: Great Classic Game
Comment: Was taught this classic card game by a 90-year-old friend who's been playing it all her life and taught all her twelve children . . . had a ball playing it with her and bought it for Christmas for several friends who also like playing card games! The bigger the group, the better the game, as things move faster. We even tweaked the rules and let everyone play at once - a whole new game!

Summary: Our Family's Favorite!
Comment: Our family loves this game. We play it at my In-Laws, who have had it for years. We wanted one for our immediate family, but could not find it in stores. I was happy to find it on Amazon, and the children were thrilled to open it on Christmas.

Summary: Great combo of strategy and luck
Comment: My family has had a set of Flinch cards as long as I can remember. My mom and I still play every time I visit.
Game play requires a good bit of strategy, but there's also luck in the order one draws cards. The combo makes it a fun game where everyone has a shot at winning.

Summary: It is a fun game
Comment: I can't deny that this is a fun game. the thing that irriates me though is that it's the same as skipbo minus the wild cards.

Summary: 1905???
Comment: This is a wonderful old card game! But if every reference I come across states that it was first introduced in 1905, why are there countless references to playing Flinch in my great-great-great-aunt's 1903 diary???
