Customer Rating: Summary: Can't Go Wrong with Classic Celine... Comment: After "Falling Into You" my Fave Celine album, and just behind "A New Day has Come" my 2nd Fave Dion album comes "Let's talk about Love". Released in 1997 after the wake of her sucess with "Falling" and her mega hit "My Heart Will Go On" Titanic's theme song. (Got Played to death)
I Was still getting over the greatness of her pevious album, when this one came along. I listened to it a few times and thought it was merely just an okay love/romance record. I Wasn't crazy about all the songs like on her previous album, and I though some of them were to slick, icky even ( When I Need You, My Heart Will Go On, ect). I Could take the adult contemporary ballads of her previous album, but this was just too much for me. Some of the songs even made me cry. (Yeah I Admit. They made me cry ) which i don't like. Specifically "Where Is The Love?". So I put it to one side and carried on listening to "Falling into You". I Like Emotional, but THIS album was too Emotional for me.
Over the years i went back and listened to it again, (due to the lack of good music by Celine), I was in search of Classic Celine, and having played "A New Day" and "Falling" to death, I Gave this one another spin on my ipod. Listening to it all these years later i'm suprised just how different I feel about it now. Instead of feeling sad when I listened to these songs I was kind of glad and Happy, even though a lot of them are sad sounding songs. My favourites have to be "My Heart Will Go On", "Treat Her Like A Lady", "Why Oh Why", "Immortality", "When I Need You", "Where Is The Love", "Love Is On the Way" and the brilliant "To Love You More".
This is A Classic Album, and any fan of Celine and Good Music should add this to their collection if they don't already own it. The only Problem is it's just a little to slick. There are some filler songs like "Us" and "Reason" were too Bland I felt, but apart from that there's a good mix of songs on this CD. I just didn't feel there was as much texture on here as on previous efforts. There are 2 good duets with Luciano Pavorotti, and Barbra Streisand, and I like the sultry effect on songs like "Why Oh Why" and there's even a dance number "Just A Little Bit Of Love". The only other minor snag is the fact that "My Heart Will Go On" got played to death on the radio, back in the day, But other than that this is a really good album. These songs really moved me, on an emotional level. I LOVE This C.D. I Hope Celine continues to make music this good in the Future, instead of rubbish like "Taking Chances"
Buy It. It's Well Worth The Money.
TOP 5 FAVE TRACKS.
05. Why Oh Why.
04. Where Is The Love (VERY SAD SONG) :(
03. When I Need You
02. My Heart Will Go On
01. To Love You More
Peace and Love, Celine Fans and Music Lovers, Chazzy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Buy it just for the hits. Comment: Let's Talk About Love by Celine Dion is an album I used to have back in the day. I'll be honest I was a fan of Celine but not anymore, her lifeless voice and weird stage presence just completely turned me off after My Heart Will Go On became huge. Celine let the success of that song go to her head and she hasn't recorded a powerful album since. There are some good tracks on this album, but not brilliant. Immortality, Tell Him, To Love You More, and I Hate You Then I Love You are the standouts but that's pretty much it. This is a mixed bag, take it or leave it.

Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect, as usual Comment: There is nothing bad I can possibly say about Celine Dion. This CD is wonderful and beautiful. I love pretty much every track on here. I have replayed the CD countless times and will continue to do so, as well as all her other wonderful albums.
