Editorial Reviews:

Enter the world of Digimon Digital Monsters. This video contains three separate stories: "Biyomon Gets Firepower," "Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker," and "Togemon in Toy Town." Each of these features a group of kids: Tai, Sora, Matt, T.K., Izzy, Mimi, and Joe. Along for the adventure with them are assorted Digimon. In "Biyomon," a mysterious black gear lodges itself into Meramon (a Digimon with fire power), making him into a fireball of destruction. Biyomon must digivolve into Birdamon to cool him off. In "Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker," the group rescues a robotlike Digimon called Andromon, but he turns out to be hostile and almost unstoppable. Again, a mysterious black gear seems to be the culprit. Kabuterimon launches a shocking attack and scores an unlikely victory. In "Togemon in Toy Town," a large teddy bear named Monzaemon has the aforementioned black gear stuck in its body. The results are a raging stuffed bear of destruction. Our gang must find a way to dislodge it in order to make Toy Town safe. Looks like a job for Palmon. This series digivolves into Pokémon, featuring the same simple animation and plots that will baffle the adult crowd. --Peggy Maltby-Etra

Summary: Digimon Dying?
Comment: Although most people think digimon and pokemon are the same thing, I know that they aren't. It may be true that pokemon seems more pointless, but what most people don't see is that its digimon thats dying, pokemon lives! This is the best season of digimon, most everything makes sense. But in the seasons after they just think about digivolve, digivolve, digivolve! In season 5, humans turn into the digimon, it is by far the worst season yet. In season 4 humans mutate with their digimon in a form of digivolution. In season 3 the digimon digivolve by means of a card. Although this season has the digivolving with the eggs, it's one of the best seasons left. I hate armour digivolution, it wrecks Angemon and Angewoman.

Summary: Continuing the digimon saga
Comment: This video continues right where the first one left off, and now that they've set things up and given all of the starter information the characters get a chance to develop, and the plot really gets to take off and get interesting.
Digimon is a lot of fun for all ages. The series has got all of the qualities that make a cartoon a classic. The characters are easy to relate to, the animation is super cute, there is a moral in every episode and the series is jam-packed with adventure. This is one cartoon that parents can sit and enjoy with their kids.

Summary: I have it, and it's okay
Comment: I'd say its okay. The ones wiht Kabuterimon and Togemon are kinda unusual. It's not all the time champions "beat" Ultimates. That's what confuses me. BUt I like the part in the Biyomon Digivolve one where Biyomon gets rolled down the hill with Meramon's fire ball. Not the rolling, but how Sora "rescued" Biyomon. In all these three episodes, I'd say "Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker" is the best. THe wierd thing is, I think about that is that Greymon and Garurumon together couldn't beat Andromon but Kabuterimon did with one single hit. It's true maybe some Digimon have advantages but this one? I'll have to think about that.

Summary: Nothing triumphant about these Pokémon wannabes
Comment: Basically, I once thought that these guys would try to overtake Pokémon when they arrived in America last year. They did. Didn't work for me. Sorry.

Summary: My Opinion
Comment: Well to say the truth I like Digimon. My friends all think I'm weird but that's okay. They don't like Pokemon and neither do I BUT don't yell at me just 'cuase I don't like Pokemon. I'm not saying it's bad but it just doesn't suit me. Digimon is more realistic not for the little monsters that run around saving the world but because of the characters. They show feelings that people in real life have. Like anger, sadness, friendship, deppression and things like that make it all the more realistic. I like Matt the best because he is the most realistic one. He tries to hard at the beggining to be cool and is a bit of a jerk but he softens and changes in the end. A lot of people are like that. Many are like some of the others too. The reason I like this show is because it's so much more realistic than Pokemon.
