Summary: Great Tape
Comment: This is the best train video I own. I reccomend it to any railfan. It's Bill Hoffmiester, and the title of the song is "Boxcar Blues", also look for "Rear of the Midnight Train"

Summary: Don't miss the "Last Train Across Canada"!
Comment: My husband John and I catch the last train across Canada again and again. Murray Sayles, with his droll wit, is an ideal host, bringing out the richness and color of every person he meets along the rails. The scenery is gorgeous, the film editing is downright poetic, there is dreamy music--from the handsome young Cree crooning "Polar Bear Express" to the talented baggage man, Bill Hoffmeister, who melts your heart singing "Boxcar Painted Blue". We never tire of this enjoyable journey and we just urge you to get aboard!
