Summary: Love this movie!
Comment: I watched this movie for the first time when it came out on TV when I was about five years old cuz my mom's a big Elvis freak. Almost twenty years later, it was on TV again and I watched it. I couldn't believe how much I remembered!! You can't help but fall in love with the movie. It's so good. It's hard not to believe what you're watching. I can just imagine the pressures Priscilla endured while being married to the King of Rock-n-Roll. And you have to wonder, why would a 24-year-old man be interested in a 14-year-old girl to begin with? Elvis was a little weird in that aspect, but he waited til they got married. Doesn't mean he wasn't getting it on the side while she was finishing her education and everything and staying true to him though. It's a great love story with a tragic ending and you can't help but feel for both of them. I think the movie shows a darker, more real side to Elvis that a lot of people don't want to believe. I choose to believe it. Nobody's perfect, he wasn't perfect, but it doesn't make me any less of a fan. My phone rang a couple minutes after the movie ended. It was my mom (she's in a different state). We both had just gotten done watching the same thing, so we had a good laugh about that and made fun of ourselves for fighting back the tears at the end of the movie. Anyway, it's a must see for anyone, not just Elvis fans!

Summary: Elvis & Me One of the best movies I have seen in my life
Comment: When I first saw this movie Elvis and Me, I didn't think I would like it that much. Then I changed my mind. Dale Midkiff did a WONDERFUL job playing Elvis. The way he would smile, laugh, look dramatic, and look at the actress Susan Walters whom was playing Precilla. Dale made it feel like you were in the movie and seeing how Elvis would treat his young wife with love. All I could say was WOW. It made me realize that I wanted to do this kind of thing. I want to be an actress when I am a little bit older. The director did a great job with this film. I love this movie. I watch it every day and all the time. Also, I am now a bigger fan of Elvis Presley than I was before I saw this movie. I give this movie 5 stars. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my entire life. I LOVE THIS MOVIE. It is my favorite movie ever.

Summary: Dale and Susan Knock It Out Of The Park
Comment: This movie gives great in sight to the relationship between The King and his queen. I think Dale Midkiff and Susan Walters did a great and very convincing job as the love sick couple. Though Dale didn't look exactly like the Elvis no one could ever really live up to those kinds of looks they're one of a kind. But, he is a wonderful actor as is Susan. All of the scenes in this movie seemed very real to me not as if they were just acting but were really Elvis and Cilla. There emotions were dead on and didn't seem false at all. I recomend this movie to anyone especially those intrigued by the relationship of THE KING and his QUEEN. Happy Watching!!!

Summary: Cilla, you're the only woman for me!
Comment: This is the film based on the book Elvis & Me which is Priscilla's official version of events on life with the King. It sticks pretty closely to the events in the book but how true they are, only she knows.

The actress playing Priscilla looks quite like her but Dale Midkiff, who plays Elvis is nothing like him although having said that, is a good looking guy in his own right. It shows Priscilla as the loving girlfriend and wife who is driven to leaving her man by his abuse of drugs and women, which is probably true. Large chunks are missed completely, the famous comeback, Elvis's disillusionment with his career and the fact they had no marriage after the birth of Lisa Marie, his obsession with religion and hardly any mention of the Colonel.

However, I think Priscilla put up with a lot and has, when all is said and done, given Elvis the career, in death, that he should have had in life.

However, some of the scenes are hilarious, the honeymoon scene is moronic, Elvis running out of the bedroom with his police torch and throwning it at the wall, Elvis turning up in 1976 to Priscilla "modest" home with his jump suit on (give me a break!). Did he want her back, who knows?

If you want a good laugh and have 3 hours to spare buy this and be glad you ain't famous! I gave it 4 stars cos it gave me such a laugh.
