Summary: Great Medsurg Book
Comment: I am giving this book four stars only because the pages are thin and the material is somewhat boring to read. I heard from most people that Iggy is better. Anyway, Lewis is a very good book but it is dry and blah. Also whenever I highlight the pages, the highlighter would bleed through. I paid almost a $100 for this but it looked cheaply made.

Comment: I utilize this book more than any other textbook required for my program. It is a great resource for careplanning, understanding the ramifications of procedures, and supplemental reading for particularly challenging subjects. As a nursing student in a baccalaureate program, I am inundated with complex and intricate explanations for disease processes. When I need a straight forward, simple answer, this is where I go. A great starting point!
