Customer Rating: Summary: Lotto Money? Not! Comment: Kimberla Lawson Roby's so far has not failed to impress and entertain me. ONE IN A MILLION is a fast-paced novel that keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps you wondering what is going to happen next.
In the first paragraph, I was so sure that I knew what good news that Kennedi Mason was going to tell her "beloved" husband that I actually smiled. What shock to find out that the actual news is not at all what is expected.
I am the queen of wanting to see evil people get theirs. The virtual queen of getting back at ya! So when a writer comes across with the type of comeuppance that Miss Lawson does, I am truly a happy reader.
I love Kimberla's writing because we know there are people out there who act just like this. Money makes distant relatives and snakes come out of the woodwork and I was anxious to see how Kennedi was going to handle her business.
While I celebrated Kennedi's success I'm still not sure that I would have been so magnanimous to her aunt so fast.
One in a Million is a quick, enjoyable novel and I highly recommend it
