Book Style
A rolling method where cigar maker lays the filler leaves atop one another and then rolls them up like a scroll. This style of rolling is common in Honduras. The other style is of rolling is based on the old Cuban method called entubar.

Bouquet
The smell of a fine cigar.

Box
The traditional wooden container, with a cedar sheet inside, used to package cigars - not to be confused with a humidor. Cabinet Selection is a wooden box with a sliding top designed to hold 25 or 50 cigars. 8-9-8 is a rounded-sided box designed to house three rows of cigars - eight on the bottom, nine in the middle and eight on the top, usually tied with a ribbon and covered with special acid-free paper. The flat top, sometimes known as the 13-topper, is a flat rectangular box with 12 cigars on the bottom and 13 on the top, divided by a wooden spacer.

Box
The container used for packaging cigars. There are 3 main styles of boxes: cabinet selection refers to wood boxes with a sliding top which hold 25 or 50 cigars. 8-9-8 refers to a round-sided box designed to accommodate three rows of cigars, eight on top, nine in the middle, eight on the bottom. A flat top is the flat rectangular box most popular today, with 13 cigars on top and 12 on the bottom.

Box Pressed
Cigars that have a square shape because of tight packaging in a box.

Breva
A type of Corona. It is known more commonly as a Rothchild in today's market.

Bulk
A large pile of leaves that are being fermented. See Fermentation.

Bulk
The large pile of tobacco leaves in which fermentation occurs.

Bunch
To construct the binder around the filler leaves.

Bunch
This is the different types of filler tobacco that are blended to create the body of the cigar. The bunch is held together by the binder.

Bundle
A less expensive method of packaging than boxes in which cigars are wrapped in cellophane.

Bundle
An inexpensive packaging method which uses a cellophane wrap. The bundle usually contains 25 or 50 cigars, sometimes without bands.

Bundle (BND)
A term derived from the cigar wrapper.

Burros
Another name for the bulk. The pile of tobacco leaves being fermented. They can be as tall as a person and are carefully monitored. If the temperature gets over 110?F the burro is taken apart to slow the fermentation.
